Fort Wayne Community Schools strives to operate with fiscal responsibility, integrity and effectiveness. The District budget focuses first on expenses that affect academic achievement.
Each year, FWCS spent about 75 percent of its budget in the classroom, compared to a state average of about 72 percent. FWCS remains committed to maintaining a classroom spending level that is above the state average. Details can be found at Dollars to the Classroom.
